First bloom on the Candytuft, Ibertis sempervirens and Pin Oak, Quercus palustris, leaves.
A close, close-up of the tiny flowers of Sarcoccoa, Sweet Bay. Wish I could send you the fabulous odor! Almost as good as Daphne odora!

Oh, daffodils. It's not time for those yet around here. When I lived in Washington State there was a bike race called the daffodil classic . . .because of the fields of daffodils it rambled though. Now I'm feeling all nostalgic.
